Kristen and Elaine worked on crocheting these hyperbolic forms. They were inspired by the work of Dr Daina Tamina, and the exhibit of crocheted models at the Institute for Figuring. Because there's lot of interest in crafting that a workshop that combined free-form crocheting and folding would be a fun adult workshop.
