	I made a car that stops before it hits walls and other obstacles. I built a simple car and attached a motor and button. I then put a light and light sensor on the front of the car. The way it works is the motor stops when it detects a certain amount of brightness, so when the car is near an object a lot of light is reflected onto the sensor and the car stops. To set up the amount of brightness, you put the car the distance from the wall you want and press the button. Works best in complete darkness.
