For this spinner, you'll only need a motor (with an axle) and a gear. The x-shaped hole in the center of the gear will just fit on the axle. I rolled a piece of masking tape... and taped my green-and-yellow top right to the gear. Now write a program that turns the motor on, and watch it spin. Learn to make copper sensors.
