Working with Motors


	You might have a grey motor or a clear motor. In either case, here are some tricks for making it easier to use.. - Margaret

	The grey motors have a rounded bump on one side.
	To make a grey motor sit flat (and work well with LEGO pieces)...
	...add three flat pieces to the bottom.

	If you have one of the clear motors with the connections on the side opposite the axle...
	...use four 1 x 4 LEGO bricks.
	Attach two on each side.
	Position them so that the LEGO pieces extend one unit beyond the bottom of the motor to make little "legs" for the motor to stand on.
